Well, our time in the Canadian Rockies has ended... with the van's being totaled (and because of obnoxious, anti-dog neighbors), the human decided we might just as well pack it up. He didn't quite finish up his work, though, so he drove us home in the van and hopped a plane back to the mountains. Is it any wonder we haven't blogged in so long?!
Anyway, we're quite happy to be back in our house, with our yard. We're still waiting to reunite with Jackson who's staying at Uncle Kidlat's til the human comes home for good.
So we're just posting about the end of our days, a little reminiscence, in a way. So long, Sleeping Buffalo, it's been quite an adventure.
(BTW, the pic is us overlooking the Mississippi, just waitin to reach that Eastern time zone!)

Booooo to the anti-dog folks..you guys always look so well behaved! ;0
Glad the pack is home safe and can't wait to see Jackson back on the scene!
I'm so glad you guys are back just in time for my burpday.

You have a VERY interesting blog, my herding dog friends. I'm intrigued with your human's art. My humans are artists, too, so I share a lot of similar experiences...mainly long stretches of down time but a lot of one-on-one time. No office for the human to go to and no separation anxiety for me!
What a lovely wild place you traveled to. It looks like enough land for everyone and I can't understand why some anti-dog people want you gone.
I looked back through your trip diary and was smitten with that wolf. She's wild and free, like us.
Your pal,

Just who are these anti-dog people? Obviously uncivilized! We would like to bite them! We're glad you guys made it home and we hope your human can join you soon (permanently)!
Aire-hugs,
Poppy, Penny & Patches
I say Boooooooo to the anti dog folks too, but also have to say, I'm not surprised. Banff is a little too close to Calgary and a lot of those people are really uptight. I'm so glad you guys made it back okay.
